List of keyboard shortcuts for Word 2002, Word 2003, and Word 2007

A bit off-topic but because working with shortcuts is often so much faster.
I believe that shortcuts are are preferred when it comes to speed/productivity and reducing the chances on RSI.

Just in case you weren't aware, we have a list of the shortcuts in Excel listed too:

PS.
If you know the shortcuts for the tools you use the most, you are not slowed down by searching for the option in the new Office 2007 ribbon the first period after you have upgraded to the new interface.

Here's where I get stuck with the keyboard in Excel 2007. I was accustomed to using menu keyboard shortcuts in 2003, and those are gone in 2007. For example, Alt-O, C, A to autofit columns. Or, Alt-F, V to print preview.

ALL of those shortcuts have changed. Unless perhaps there's a plugin somewhere that can duplicate that functionality? I would *love* that.

(I must really be in the minority here – I haven't heard anyone else complain about this.)

Hello Bob,

I have seen the add-in. There are several alternatives too.
Have a look at the following pages. Especially the comments are interesting:

I have tried the example from Charlie Woodal and that worked perfectly.

Kind regards,

Hi Bastien,

May the couple live 1000 years !

I have downloaded the Charlie files, but couldn't make them to work. Will you please guide how to add classic menus through those files.

Hello Kanwaljit ,

From the links you will only need the .XLAM file. XLAM is the new XLA, the format for Excel add-ins.
You can download the example from Charlie Woodall from:
http://cid-c71180b441714fdc.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Excel/ExcelClassicUI.xlam
This will add a new tab to the ribbon with the classic Excel menu.

If you open the file in Excel 2007 you should see the changes in the menu.
If you want it loaded permanently you can activate them as add-in via the Excel add-ins option.

Kind regards,
Bastien
