Review by ZD Net Netherlands and Belgium: A great labour-saver

In November ASAP Utilities 4.2.1 was reviewed by ZD Net (Netherlands and Belgium) by Rowald Pruyn. ZDNet.be and ZDNet.nl are two of the best visited and appreciated ICT-websites in Belgium and The Netherlands.

This free Excel add-in, developed by a Dutch programmer, is one of the best kept secrets for experienced Excel users. It is a collection of new features that has been divided into eighteen different categories. These macros, that automate individual acts together, help you quickly remove, merging or copy cells. It does wonders with the sorting of data. Navigating through the various worksheets is a lot easier and you can track down empty cells in a range to fill them with the same value.

Unfortunately, the whole website in English, but the instruction videos provide a helping hand for those who prefer to be informed in Dutch.

If you frequently work with Excel, ASAP Utilities is a tool that brings help for most Excel versions. For Excel 97 users there is a separate version available on the main page. Deze gratis Excel add-in, ontwikkeld door een Nederlandse programmeur, is een van de best bewaarde geheimen voor ervaren Excel-gebruikers. Het is een verzameling nieuwe functies die is verdeeld in achttien verschillende categorieën. Deze macro's, die afzonderlijke handelingen samenvoegen en automatiseren, helpen u snel cellen te verwijderen, samen te voegen of te kopiëren. Daarnaast doet het wonderen met sorteren van data. ASAP Utilities is digitally signed and therefore you can have the macro-security in Excel set to high without problems. More detailed information about this is in the User Guide.
