What do I do?Date: 22 september 2006Older versions, 7.2 and earlier:IntroductionTo install or update ASAP Utilities you need to be able to install software on your computer.This usually means that you must have administrator privileges or be a member of the Power Users group to install ASAP Utilities, or you can choose to run the setup as administrator if you have a limited user account. If you don't have the rights on your computer to install ASAP Utilities, you can perhaps ask a colleague with administrator or power user rights, or your IT department to install it for you. Detailed information about the installation is available on this website and even more thorough described in the User Guide. Only needed during the installationWhen the installation is finished every user on the computer is able to use ASAP Utilities.Run the setup as administratorTo run the setup you can either log in as administrator on your computer, but it is perhaps easier to right-click on the setup file and choose "Run as...".After the installation is finished every user on the computer (including the ones with limited rights) is able to use ASAP Utilities. Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows VistaRight click on the setup and choose "Run as administrator..."Then enter the information for an account with administrator rights and the setup will start: Windows XPRight click on the setup and choose "Run as..."Then enter the information for an account with administrator rights and the setup will start: Windows 2000In Windows 2000 there is no option in the rigth-click menu to run the setup as administrator.
